It is with deep regret that we inform you ...  

Rabbi Rob’s mother, Ellen (Birdie) Lennick, passed away on Monday, January 23. The funeral is today and the Rabbi and his family will be sitting Shiva at his home (1544 Duxbury Court, Allentown) during the following times:

  • Saturday, January 28: 7:30 pm
  • Sunday, January 29: 2-5pm and 7-9 pm
  • Monday, January 30: 2-5pm and 7-9 pm
  • Tuesday, January 31: 2-5pm and 7-9pm

Minyan will be at 7:30 pm everyday.

Congregation Keneseth Israel and the Lehigh County Council of Churches celebrate the great Reverend King.
Cost is $9 if you bring your own skates or $12 if you rent. We will meet at KI and eat a quick lunch before heading over to Rollermotion in Macungie. Pick up will be at 3:45 at KI.
Enjoy a wonderful child-oriented Shabbat service and a special PJ Library book reading. Meet other young families followed by a pizza dinner. Everyone is welcome. Please RSVP to Nina Pinsley at 484 221 8835. The cost is $6.00 adults and $4.00 children.
URJ Incubator Grants provide seed funding for innovative new projects designed to actively engage more people in Reform synagogue life. 20 Grants of up to $5,000 will be awarded. One special focus of the Incubator Grants will be placed on programs that aim to engage youth and families post b'nei mitzvah.
The gift shop hours are Wednesday 4:00-6:00 and Sunday 9:30-12:00 throughout the entire month of January.
