1883 A group of 15 young Jewish merchants of German descent, who called themselves Young Ladies and Men’s Hebrew Society, met for weekly worships. On November 11, 1883, they held the 1st Sunday school and on the 12th elected the temple organization.
1903 Synogogue was incorporated in July 6, 1903
1906 Young Ladies Group, now known as the Keneseth Israel Sisterhood, was formally organized
