Kabbalat
Shabbat Services
Our
Kabbalat Shabbat services and pot-luck dinners have been a
wonderful success. We are delighted that so many of our congregants
are participating in this new tradition at KI. For the comfort
and consideration of all those who are attending, we ask you
to please observe the following:
- When
preparing a dish, please make sure to let the office know
what you are making so that we can plan accordingly. (Please
bring enough to share with 10 people).
- Please
make sure your reservation is in no later than the Tuesday
morning preceding the Kabbalat Shabbat Service.
- The
purpose of assigned seating is to insure that there is a
place for everyone who makes a reservation. Make sure you
note your seating preference so we can accommodate your request.
- Please
make sure you bring the number of people for whom you made
the reservation. Bringing extra people at the last minute
is unfair to those congregants who made their reservations
in advance, and cannot sit with families and friends as per
their request.
- Before
you leave, please make sure you take your dishes, bowls,
etc, and any left-over food you have brought.
We
look forward to sharing many more Kabbalat Shabbat worship
and Shabbat dinners with you. Thank you for making this experience
so rewarding.
