I have been a member of KI for over 30 years where I have served various positions during much of that tenure. I have also been a Brotherhood Board member for over 30 years. My goal is to move our vision and direction forward with the help of many of our dedicated Congregants who share this same goal and proceed to bring the Congregation into the second decade of this 21st century with a renewed purpose, faith and vigor!

Tools for School Project
Through the summers of 2008, 2009, and again this year, we partnered with Cleveland Elementary School in Allentown to provide school supplies for students and classrooms. The school is in an economically distressed part of the city, and many students do not have the basic tools needed to learn. Norm Sarachek spearheaded the collection effort, and as a result of his hard work, we accumulated a huge collection of backpacks, folders, pencils, erasers, paper, and craft supplies to benefit the 330 students at the school. The congregation was extremely generous in their support. The school supplies are delivered to the school at the end of the summer, prior to the arrival of the students. Norm and other KI volunteers have really shown how a few individuals can make a huge difference for some needy kids in our own backyard!
